Ajo Al’s – Featured Business of the Week!
Welcome to week 1 of NARPRO’s participation in the COVID MAD program (a Community of Valiant Individuals Determined to Make a Difference). Started by one of our member shops, Good Works Auto Repair, this program was created to help support our local businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.
As you have likely seen in your own community, the coronavirus has wreaked havoc on people’s everyday lives as well as our local small businesses. Instead of focusing on all the negative aspects of the virus and the environment it has created, we want to keep things positive in our communities. You can read all the details of the program here. But, here are the basics …
- One of our member shops will select a local business to feature each week.
- That shop will purchase (5) $50 gift cards from that business to be awarded to their customers throughout the week.
- NARPRO will match that by purchasing an additional (5) $50 gift cards from the featured business to be given to local first responders.
It’s a win-win for all involved … our local businesses, our customers, first responders, and the entire community!
Ajo Al’s – Arizona’s Original Mexican Restaurant
Ajo Al’s is our first featured business and comes to us courtesy of our member shop Martin’s Auto Repair. Family owned and operated since 1986, Ajo Al’s has four locations and another one coming soon. That means that great tasting Mexican food is sure to be close by to you!
Their extensive menu includes everything Mexican, from burritos and fajitas, to quesadillas, enchiladas, chili, and more. Ajo Al’s certainly has what it takes to spice up your home quarantine cuisine! Restrictions due to Covid-19 mean you can’t order food and eat in, but you can order for takeout, curbside pickup, or delivery! Follow them on Facebook for hours of operation and current specials. Then, tell your family and friends how great the food is from Ajo Al’s and share the love for this local gem!
